Construction Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Intern to join our team at Home Creations in Edmond, Oklahoma. This full-time position will involve assisting the superintendent with construction, maintenance, and landscaping activities. As a Construction Intern, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our residential properties and supporting various on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod.
• Perform minor touch-ups and activities on the punch list.
• Walk through every room of every house daily.
• Communicate with sub-contractors and assist in daily operational tasks.
• Attend staff meetings and provide recommendations to the Builder and Superintendent.

Requirements

• High school diploma with six months of general labor experience.
• Knowledge of erosion control guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong customer service skills.

Work Environment

Exposure to outdoor work sites with varying weather conditions and physical demands. This role will involve bending, climbing, lifting, and other physical activities typical in the construction field.

Tools and Equipment

This position may require the use of a tablet/phone, tape measure, levels, and basic hand/power tools for daily tasks.
