Job Description

We are hiring an Assistant Chief Medical Officer to join the dynamic team at Metro Community Health Center, an integrated medical, mental health, and dental clinic serving various neighborhoods in the greater Pittsburgh area. As an Assistant Chief Medical Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care to all patients under our care.

Responsibilities

• Direct medical intervention for patient well-being through accurate diagnosis and delivery of high-quality medical care.
• Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff to meet or exceed measurable standards of care.
• Ensure medical treatment and care align with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, vendors, and healthcare staff.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical guidelines, healthcare regulations, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• BE/BC degree in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Minimum five years' experience as a hospitalist with management/leadership experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality measures and strong inpatient skill set.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Active state license, CPR Certification, DEA License, PA State Controlled Substance Registration.
