Responsibilities of the RN Registered Nurse - LTAC Position
- Admit and transfer patients to the unit
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Interpret assessments and diagnostic data
- Promote continuous quality improvement
- Respond to life-saving situations
- Act as a patient advocate providing education and support to patients and families
- Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations
Credentials Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in the LTC/SNF setting
- Active RN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, and TB/PPD
- Verifiable work history and professional references
