Job Description

Meade District Hospital has multiple exciting opportunities for Registered Nurses (RNs). We are currently looking to fill four positions:

1. Full Time Night Shift RN (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
2. Full Time Day Shift RN (7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
3. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Pre/Post Op and Med/Surg Floor)
4. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Cardiac Rehab and Med/Surg Floor)

We offer a self-schedule, $5,000 sign-on bonus, and various training opportunities. As a Registered Staff Nurse in our nursing department, you will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and play a crucial role in providing quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, and ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain departmental policies and procedures.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust processes for optimal care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
• Observe patient emotional stability and prepare for continuing care.
• Assist healthcare team members and providers with patient care.
• Supervise other nursing staff.
• Administer medications and assess patient pain.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Kansas license.
• 30 CEUs every 2 years, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong CPR and patient care skills.
