Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled 6W Burn Trauma Stepdown RN II to join our team at MUSC. In this role, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients, ensuring safe and effective treatment. The ideal candidate will interact with other healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes while adhering to the principles of the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care according to established nursing protocols.
• Interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure safe and efficient care delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to the principles and practices of the nursing process.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.

Physical and Mental Requirements

The role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks while maintaining sensory functions and dealing effectively with stressful situations.
