Job Description

Meade District Hospital is currently hiring for four (4) Registered Nurse (RN) positions:

1. Full Time Night Shift RN (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
2. Full Time Day Shift RN (7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
3. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Pre/Post Op and the Med/Surg Floor) (min 2 shifts a week on the med/surg floor)
4. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Cardiac Rehab and the Med/Surg Floor) (min 2 shifts a week on the med/surg floor)

Join our team to provide quality care to patients and their families while adhering to the highest nursing standards and processes. As a Registered Nurse, you will work under the Nursing Department and report to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain departmental policies, evaluate patient care outcomes, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with specialists, administer medications, and supervise junior nursing staff.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and dignity throughout the care process.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Kansas license.
• Continuing education requirements, CPR certification, and proficiency in ACLS and PALS.

Cardiac Rehab Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and address patient pain levels, communicate with physicians, and maintain equipment protocols.
• Document patient interactions accurately and follow departmental procedures.

Pre/Post Op Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery, assist in recovery, and report patient conditions to the nursing team.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes, ensure accurate record-keeping, and coordinate diagnostic services.
