Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, the Radiology Technician performs a variety of radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes in all areas of the Diagnostic Radiology Department.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
- Complete mandatory education and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Provide radiographic services in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.
- Ensure patients' safety and maintain radiology equipment.
- Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Registered or eligible for the ARRT exam.
- Maintain current license and CEUs.
- Live within proximity for on-call duties.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse groups.
- Active CPR certification.
