Job Description

At Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS INC, we are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist Clinical Supervisor to join our caring team. As the Clinical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading and supervising our staff clinicians and interns, ensuring the provision of comprehensive care services to our clients. Our Behavioral Health program focuses on cultural responsiveness and evidence-based therapy for individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee caseloads, productivity, and board requirements of staff clinicians and interns.
  • Coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation, and implementation.
  • Supervise and support the Behavioral Health team in delivering high-quality care.
  • Manage discharge plans and comprehensive clinical record documentation.
  • Conduct client visits in the community and provide training to new team members.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or related healthcare field.
  • Independent licensure and Clinical Supervisor registration.
  • 5+ years of counseling experience with 3+ years as a Clinical Supervisor.
  • Proficiency in HIPAA, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication skills and cultural competency.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a diverse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with trauma survivors or EMDR training.
  • Knowledge or experience with LGBTQIAS+ communities or HIV/AIDS.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
