Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Job Description

Toyo Tires North America Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking Apprentice Maintenance Technicians for our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia. As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for basic preventive maintenance on advanced production machinery, including robotic-driven equipment with PLCs. You will need to have mechanical experience, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, oil lubrication, PLCs, AC & DC servo drives, and be willing to work night shifts that may include weekends and holidays in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a related field.
• Two or more years of mechanical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and servo drives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting of objects up to 80 pounds.

Experience

• Associates or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field preferred.
