Job Description

The University of Toledo Physicians is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic setting. The LPN will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures, patient assessments, medication administration, chart preparation, and maintaining medical supplies. The ideal candidate must have a diploma from an accredited LPN program, hold a valid Ohio LPN license, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care.
• Prepare patients for exams, measure vital signs, and document patient information.
• Communicate instructions clearly and professionally to patients.
• Ensure patient medical records are complete and accurate prior to appointments.
• Perform prescription verifications and CLIA waived testing procedures.
• Maintain medical supplies, instruments, and exam rooms for infection control.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent with a diploma from an accredited LPN program.
• Valid Ohio LPN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficient in medical terminology and basic computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of compliance and patient privacy best practices.
