Job Description
We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC. As a member of GENESYS Health Alliance, you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare services to detainees in a correctional setting. Our focus is on caring for people, including our patients, employees, and partners, to ensure unrivaled client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to detainees, including routine and emergency treatments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed medical providers.
- Perform health screenings and explain treatment protocols to patients.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment while delivering healthcare services.
Requirements
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment or ability to obtain one.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to work night shifts from 7:30pm to 7:00am.
