Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and documenting resolutions. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely issue resolution and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle of assigned Problems, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate actions for issue resolution.
  • Monitor service level agreements, maintain problem inventory in ServiceNow, and propose process improvements.
  • Mentor Service Support Specialists and ensure quality documentation standards are met.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations, Project management, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering or Statistics.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 plus additional incentives. Total compensation depends on factors such as experience, education, and skills.
