Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services in Abbeville, LA, is looking for an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team. This full-time year-round position will also involve ground support duties and occasional job assignments that may require travel. We are seeking a motivated, organized team player who prioritizes safety, is open to learning, and can adapt quickly to serve our customers efficiently.
Requirements
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License - REQUIRED
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience
- Flight line experience, including track and balance
- Ability to lift 70lbs and perform various physical tasks
- Proficient in documenting maintenance activities
- Preferred commercial experience or a mix of military and commercial experience
- Must have own tools
- Willingness to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA
- Preferred: IA, Sheet Metal, Avionics, Bell Helicopter product experience, factory training, CDL
