Job Description
Discover Financial Services is offering a rewarding opportunity for an Application Engineer (Full-Stack) to join a collaborative and innovative team. As part of the Collections Value Stream, you will participate in modernizing the Probate and Bankruptcy system to enhance customer and internal operations experiences.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product team deliverables using Java programming technology.
- Diagnose opportunities for automation and efficiency in product delivery cycles.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Lead technology communities and advocate for best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale for internal candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, React, and Angular.
- Knowledge of modernizing legacy platforms and cloud technologies such as AWS and OpenShift.
- Strong automation mindset and CI/CD Pipeline experience.

Compensation
Base pay ranges between $86,500.00 to $146,100.00, with additional incentives based on factors like experience and skill level.
