Amplifybio, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Animal Resources Technician to join our team. As a key member of our animal care division, you will work alongside highly trained scientists and technicians to support toxicology, safety pharmacology, and inhalation research programs. Your responsibilities will include animal husbandry, data collection, test article administration, equipment sanitation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform animal husbandry and care tasks with precision.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Collect, record, and review data accurately.
• Develop proficiency in lab equipment usage and experimental procedures.
• Execute tasks independently or collaboratively.
• Communicate research procedures and results effectively.
• Assist in various activities including animal care and facility maintenance.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Identify deviations, anomalies, and welfare issues.
• Cross-train in different company tasks.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in biology, chemistry, RVT, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory or animal care settings.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in diverse teams and independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to safety protocols.
• Capacity to handle immunizations and wear required protective gear.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years of lab or animal care experience (degree) or 4+ years (without degree).
• Familiarity with animal husbandry, handling, and medication administration.
• Experience in assisting surgeries is a plus.
