Field Solutions Engineer II - Channel

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Field Solutions Engineer II to join our team at Flexential. In this role, you will be responsible for working on opportunities related to Hybrid/Cloud, Managed Services, and Large Retail Colocation. As a Field Solutions Engineer, you will provide pre-sales technical expertise to the National Sales Team, engage with prospects, and design comprehensive solutions for new customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present Cloud and Managed Services solutions for new customers.
• Support regional partners by delivering technical presentations and attending Partner events.
• Stay updated on product offerings, industry trends, and technologies.
• Design, document, and present complex CMS/Hybrid solutions to potential customers.
• Create detailed technical drawings and designs for CMS Solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
• 6-9 years of relevant experience in sales, consulting, or sales engineering.
• Experience in designing solutions for both business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical proficiency and a track record of success in the managed IT services field.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based web applications, infrastructure design, and architecture methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure, cloud platforms, server hardware, databases, and IT security best practices.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
