Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description:

Middle River Aerostructure Systems is seeking a Facilities Equipment Engineer to manage industrial equipment availability, forecast critical spares, and coordinate with maintenance for optimal equipment uptime. The role involves updating equipment listings, securing critical spares, maintaining equipment spares database, and working on preventative maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, strong Excel skills, knowledge of CNC and robotic equipment, and experience in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Maximizing equipment uptime by supporting and updating equipment listings.
• Securing critical spares and maintaining spares database with timely purchasing.
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure efficient preventative maintenance.
• Drive machine checks and maintain equipment health board.
• Assisting in project and maintenance budget development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA scripting.
• Knowledge of CNC and robotic equipment components.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and electrical schematics.

Desired Characteristics:

• 3+ years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
• Skills in CAD design and additive manufacturing.
• Experience in inventory management and facility systems.
• Knowledge of machine design and laser alignment techniques.
