Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I role at Flexential is crucial for providing physical and technical support to customers and resources. This position requires expertise in Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. As a Data Center Operations Technician I, you will represent Flexential professionally and technically, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain professionalism while performing data center tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using Flexential ticketing system.
• Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies.
• Assist with installations of Flexential services.
• Maintain Data Center cleanliness and perform Facilities Rounds.
• Operate Badge Access Security System and support Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for customer experience.
• Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience.
• Network +, Security +, or CCNA certifications desired.
• Microsoft MCP or MCSA certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
• Work in cold temperatures and lift heavy objects.
• Maneuver pallet jacks and install cabling.

Hourly Pay Range

Hourly pay range estimated at $19.33 - $22.67, subject to candidate's experience and qualifications.
