Job Description

The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is ideal for individuals seeking a market-based opportunity in providing physical and Level II technical support to customers. As a 24x7x365 role, you will be responsible for resolving Facility and customer issues, maintaining a professional demeanor, and ensuring the smooth operation of data center activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and document them using the ticketing system.
• Support 24/7 operations, perform installations, and maintain Data Center cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and vendors, following established protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for excellent customer service and technical support.
• Strong understanding of Windows/Microsoft Operating systems.
• Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
• Preferably 1 year of IT Support experience; certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA are advantageous.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to work at heights, in cold environments, lift heavy objects, and handle cabling.
