Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for an Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure to lead the operation and maintenance of all critical systems within our data center(s), ensuring the highest levels of uptime and efficiency. This role involves coaching and developing a team of engineers, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving operational excellence across markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mission-critical equipment.
• Coaching and mentoring the team on best practices.
• Leading efforts to improve operational effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Developing and presenting business cases for improvements.
• Implementing company policies and procedures.
• Conducting facility performance reports and overseeing disaster recovery exercises.
• Creating detailed procedures for maintenance and operations.
• Providing training for operations staff.
• Ensuring equipment functionality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Configuring monitoring/alerting systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.
• Military or trade experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• 5+ years of data center experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Extended keyboard usage and occasional travel.

Base Pay Range

Annual salary range: $112,700 - $145,400.
