Job Description

Flexential is seeking an Account Executive - Colocation to join our team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will be responsible for presenting and selling Flexential colocation products and services to prospective customers in selected data centers. You will play a crucial role in our business strategy by prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, and closing deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable input on prospects' needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products and services to potential customers.
  • Generate leads and drive new sales within a targeted region for specific data centers.
  • Maintain sales activity to fill the sales pipeline consistently.
  • Close sales based on assigned monthly quotas.
  • Coordinate the utilization of Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document the sales process for identified opportunities.
  • Manage the contracting process for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Establish relationships with networking partners, including channel partners.
  • Conduct meetings with business prospects using various communication methods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in managing sales processes with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Proven success in a team selling environment with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for managing the sales process.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to market changes.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to win.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $85,000 (actual range varies based on experience and qualifications).

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
