Job Description

Flexential is seeking an ambitious Account Executive - Colocation to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our colocation products and services to potential customers within targeted data centers. The Account Executive will play a vital part in driving business growth by generating leads, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, negotiating deals, and providing valuable market insights to enhance our sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote and sell Flexential's colocation products and services to prospective customers.
  • Generate leads and develop new sales within assigned regions and data centers.
  • Maintain sales activity to consistently fill the sales pipeline.
  • Close sales in alignment with monthly quotas and facilitate the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support the sales process effectively.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document sales opportunities.
  • Manage the contracting process for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
  • Conduct meetings with business prospects to drive sales growth and success.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the sales process with C-suite and departmental level staff.
  • Track record of success in team selling and utilizing Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for end-to-end sales process management.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability in a dynamic marketplace.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
  • Positive and goal-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Base Pay Range: The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $85,000, subject to candidate qualifications and experience.

Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonuses based on personal and company performance.
