As a key member of our team, you will contribute to providing exceptional medical care to both adult and pediatric patients, all under one roof. Job Purpose

The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in various office duties, from patient intake to care delivery. Under supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, you will provide stellar customer service, assist with patient triage, support direct patient care, and perform routine medical procedures following established protocols. We are open to training a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about joining our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and relationships.
  • Stay updated on office policies and procedures.
  • Obtain patient histories and update charts.
  • Communicate normal test results to patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and exam rooms.
  • Perform routine procedures such as EKGs, immunizations, ear lavage, and sterile dressing changes.
  • Administer nebulizer treatments, remove sutures, give injections, and manage exam room supplies.
  • Follow safety, environmental, and infection control practices.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Preferably, certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of business office procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to greet patients and handle phones professionally.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with providers and patients.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity.

Working conditions:

This role involves prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
