Senior Engineering Manager - Civil

Job Description

Moody and Associates, Inc. (Moody) is looking for a highly experienced Senior Engineering Manager - Civil to join our growing Civil Engineering practice. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and designing technical activities related to land development plans for our diverse range of clients including commercial, institutional, municipal, and energy sectors.

Job Purpose

• Manage tasks on multiple projects following Moody's high project management standards.
• Assist in developing proposals, scope of services, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate project plans, risk registers, and project documents with internal teams.
• Mentor and manage staff, ensure project cost control and monitor project progress.
• Communicate project status, key features, and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and apply diverse engineering principles effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and deadline-driven mentality.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional engineering license in PA, additional state licensures beneficial.
• 10+ years of civil engineering experience with staff management.
• Expertise in site development, experience in oil and gas, water, wastewater, geotechnical or environmental engineering advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and other relevant programs.
• Willingness to travel to project locations and between Moody offices in PA.
