Registered Nurse II - 8W Neuro Acute Care

Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse II to join our 8W Neuro Acute Care team at MUSC. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide individualized patient care, interact with the healthcare team, and ensure safe and effective care delivery. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients, including those with general surgery and neuroscience needs such as strokes, brain tumors, and spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goal-directed patient care utilizing nursing process principles.
• Interact with healthcare team members to achieve desired outcomes.
• Manage a varied patient population including neuroscience patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum one year of registered nurse work experience required.
