Position Summary

The Bakery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Bakery Department to ensure top quality products and exceptional customer service for all Kennie's customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training
• Strong communication skills
• Mathematical proficiency
• Problem-solving ability

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Achieve department goals in sales and gross profit
• Maintain control over expenses, inventory, and waste
• Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
• Order raw materials and price products accordingly
• Maintain product quality and freshness
• Oversee stocking, display, and rotation of bakery products
• Collaborate with management for merchandising and sales strategies
• Ensure department cleanliness and equipment maintenance

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Bakery Manager directly supervises employees, conducts interviews, training, and handles employee performance and related issues.
