We are looking for a Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) to join our team in the ART 6E Surgical Acute Care unit at the Medical University of South Carolina. As a Registered Nurse I, you will provide individualized nursing care to patients and families, collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes. Job Responsibilities

• Provide goal-directed nursing care following the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure holistic and safe patient care.
• Participate in shared governance initiatives and unit decisions.
• Monitor patients using the Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) for critical care introduction.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse in South Carolina or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical and Mental Requirements

The role requires various physical and mental capabilities, including balance, coordination, and the ability to lift and carry certain weights unassisted.
