Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team at Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of "Improving the lives of the people we serve" at various locations in East Tennessee. Depending on the position, experience, and education, LPN salaries start at $19.22/hr and RN positions start at $26.80/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to clients in clinics or the community.
• Work with special populations including individuals with mental illness, co-occurring, and dual diagnosis disorders.
• Utilize computer skills in a healthcare setting, including electronic medical records and email.
• Implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques to ensure the safety of clients and staff.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in Tennessee.
• Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• Excellent people, role-modeling, and communication skills.
• Ability to relate to individuals and families of varied backgrounds with respect and dignity.
