Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join the TOYOTI1 team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for using reliability equipment to analyze machine performance, predict failures, and minimize downtime effectively. Your role will involve analyzing data, utilizing various technologies for data collection, and collaborating with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Predict pending failures based on gathered data.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate repairs for equipment to avoid catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings.
• Initiate plans to improve manufacturing equipment life.
• Stay current in predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
• Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or at least 5 years of experience in reliability technology.
• Knowledge of root cause failure analysis process.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
