The Helen Ross McNabb Center is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to clients in various settings such as clinics, crisis stabilization units, and residential treatment facilities.
  • Assess and monitor clients' physical and mental health status, including the implementation of appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must hold a current LPN or RN license in Tennessee.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, alcohol and drug treatment, and co-occurring disorders is preferred.
  • CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Experience working with special populations and computer proficiency in a healthcare setting are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and circumstances.
  • Ability to handle physical demands and exposure to biological hazards in the workplace.
