Job Description
The Helen Ross McNabb Center is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to clients in various settings such as clinics, crisis stabilization units, and residential treatment facilities.
- Assess and monitor clients' physical and mental health status, including the implementation of appropriate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must hold a current LPN or RN license in Tennessee.
- Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, alcohol and drug treatment, and co-occurring disorders is preferred.
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
- Experience working with special populations and computer proficiency in a healthcare setting are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and circumstances.
- Ability to handle physical demands and exposure to biological hazards in the workplace.
