Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in aerospace technology. As a Facilities Equipment Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing industrial equipment availability, maintaining critical spares, and ensuring equipment uptime to support production demands.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment listings and servicing requirements to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares needed for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares to minimize downtime.
• Track and update equipment maintenance schedules efficiently.
• Collaborate with teams to predict and prevent equipment failures.
• Assist in the development of facility project budgets and identify cost savings opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA scripting, and CNC/Robotic equipment components.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• 3+ years' experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Skills in Continuous Improvement, CAD design, and Additive Manufacturing.
• Inventory management and knowledge of Facility Mechanical/Electrical Systems.
• Experience in machine design and laser alignment techniques.
