Area / Schedule

• Care for dogs and cats.
• Most dog-walking services occur from 10am to 3pm Monday - Friday.
• Pet-sitting services occur on evenings and weekends.
• Service areas include Alexandra, Arlington, Fort Washington, Lorton, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Waldorf, and nearby communities.

Compensation

$19 - $21 / hour (based on previous staff wages and potential earning bonuses)

$2200 - $2700 / month

• Based on experience, staff can gross $22+ per hour to start.
• Time and a half on holidays and for short-notice requests.
• 100% of client tips go to staff.
• Bonuses for client/staff referrals and reaching performance goals.
• Work materials provided - treats, poop bags, and other necessary items.
• Bonuses for obtaining Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and positive walking environment for client's dogs.
• Provide detailed and attentive care for client's cats and other small animals.
• Perform house-sitting duties as requested by the client.
• Transport client pets.
• Flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.
• Remain flexible to accommodate changes in client demand.
