We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Dog Walker to join our team at Kate's K9 Pet Care. Area / Schedule

• Ability to care for dogs and cats.
• Dog-walking services occur from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Pet-sitting services occur on evenings and weekends.
• Service areas include Alexandra, Arlington, Fort Washington, Lorton, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Waldorf, and nearby communities.
• A staff member is scheduled to work in one area consistently.

Compensation

• $19 - $21 / hour, potential earning bonuses.
• $2200 - $2700 / month
• 30-minute visits are paid at the starting rate of $14-$15 per visit, with potential increase over time.
• Time and a half on holidays and short-notice requests.
• Client gratuity with 100% of client tips going to staff.
• Bonuses for client/staff referrals and reaching performance goals.
• Work materials provided (treats, poop bags, etc.).
• Bonuses for obtaining Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and positive walking environment for our client's dogs.
• Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats and other small animals.
• Perform house-sitting duties as requested by the client.
• Transport client pets when necessary.
• Preference for candidates with evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
• Flexibility is key due to changes in client demand week to week.
