Job Description
The To Go Specialist at Silver Diner is a critical role in providing hospitality to our guests by handling carry-out orders, online orders, and delivery services. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, merchandising, and POS functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to guests, including suggestive selling and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain awareness of menu items and merchandise products in display cases.
- Keep work area clean, complete sales transactions accurately, and communicate guest requests to management.
- Adhere to uniform standards, SMG scoring standards, and deliver the Silver Diner brand experience.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Exceptional aptitude for guest service, excellent communication skills, and ability to meet scheduling requirements.
- High sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position. Previous serving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
