Clinical Response Coordinator (RN-Paramedic)

Job Description

Mid South Transplant Foundation is seeking a Clinical Response Coordinator (RN-Paramedic) to join our team and play a crucial role in facilitating the organ and tissue donation process in the Mid-South region. As a Clinical Response Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting on-site visits at donor hospitals within a 3-hour radius of Memphis, TN. Your primary tasks will include assessing potential organ and tissue donors, evaluating medical records, interacting with hospital teams, and determining initial medical suitability for donation.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site visits to donor hospitals to evaluate potential donors.
• Assess available clinical data in medical records and through bedside assessment.
• Communicate with hospital and physician teams to determine medical suitability for donation.
• Interact with Mid-South Transplant Foundation staff to facilitate the donation process.

Requirements

• Experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting is preferred, or Advanced EMT/Paramedic qualification.
• Degree in a medical or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Availability to work full-time with a 24-hour call schedule, including weekends and holidays.
