Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Maintenance Technician to join our team at Freeman Webb Company. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant, working under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Your primary duties will involve a diverse range of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our properties.

Responsibilities

• Participate in various maintenance projects as assigned.
• Perform electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, circuits, and more.
• Conduct plumbing work including cleaning stoppages and replacing fittings.
• Handle painting, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Assist in grounds work and custodial tasks when required.
• Maintain stock control and utilize maintenance materials efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and work-safety programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior maintenance experience or related field expertise.
• Valid driver's license and insurable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Basic understanding of math and a willingness to learn.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights.
