Veterinary Technician - Neurology

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. As part of a Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment dedicated to providing high-quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of technical experience.
• Technical skill set including restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and general nursing care.
• Experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50lbs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Advocate for patient care with a passion for veterinary medicine.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
• CVT certification required.
