Mobile Mechanic

Job Description

Alpha Transport Inc., one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western United States, is seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Mobile Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobile Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Perform major and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair air and electrical systems, diesel engines, suspension, brake systems, and tires.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Travel between markets as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must own tools and be DOT certified.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as a certified diesel mechanic.
• Welding experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.
