Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. As a Senior Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving fundraising strategies and building relationships with a diverse group of funders. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals, contribute to impactful programs, and make a difference in communities across the country.

Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and national programs to inform fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to articulate programming and develop case statements for funders.
• Build customized fundraising strategies for new and existing funders.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
• Prepare and submit proposals, reports, and stewardship documents in alignment with funder guidelines.
• Create customized funder proposals and impact reports with design support.
• Maintain accurate records of funder interactions and activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry is a plus.
