Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will leverage their expertise in GAAP to scrutinize financial data, craft precise reports, and uphold internal controls. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, they will steer financial accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA designation desirable.
- 5+ years in corporate accounting or audit.
- Proficiency in GAAP, internal controls, and ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills and financial analysis abilities.
- Detail-oriented with leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly general ledger close and journal entries.
- Contribute to annual audits and maintain internal controls.
- Manage balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports for management.
- Provide guidance and review junior accountants' work.
