Job Description

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at ThedaCare in the Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care unit. As an RN at ThedaCare, you will provide patient-centered, specialized nursing care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Your work will contribute to delivering compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policies.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform patient care procedures with manual dexterity.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and ability to manage high-pressure situations.

Work Environment

• Exposure to sharp objects, hazardous materials, and potential communicable diseases.
• Standing and walking for extended periods, with occasional high noise levels.
• Potential contact with aggressive patients requiring proper handling techniques.
