Registered Nurse - Float Pool 3

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool 3 team at ThedaCare. As a Float Pool Clinical Nurse, you will provide specialized and evidence-based nursing care across different units, contributing to the delivery of compassionate and safe care within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in the assigned specialty area.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members.
• Proactively manage risks and respond effectively to emergencies.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or commitment to obtain within five years.
• Two years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Float Pool or Resource teams.
• Current Wisconsin RN or compact nursing licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move freely.
• Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Work Environment

• Exposure to sharp objects, fumes, and communicable diseases.
• Use of computers throughout the day.
