HEPACO Inc, a leading environmental and emergency services company, is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager in Environmental Services/ER to join their Norfolk, VA team. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully completing projects in the region with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This role involves active participation in project bidding, contract compliance, resource management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields, with strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Responsibilities
- Manage project lifecycle from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Participate in project bidding and contracting processes, providing critical insights for accurate and competitive proposals.
- Collaborate with the Territory Account Manager and Branch Manager in business development activities.
- Lead and support the project team, providing mentorship and guidance for successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manage project expenses within budget constraints.
- Provide timely and accurate project reporting, financial data, and uphold company values in daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including team leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and prior experience with Hyland OnBase is a plus.
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances and certifications for project work.
