Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Roxboro Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assisting with nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse, observing patients, and providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit, following the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel, monitor work performance, and observe patients for any symptoms or reactions.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and changes in patients' conditions.
- Perform other assigned duties to ensure efficient and compassionate patient care.
Requirements
- High school graduate with a Licensed Practical Nurse certification from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing with proof of license renewal.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses, be available during emergencies, and provide quality geriatric nursing care.
- CPR certification and attendance at required in-service training and staff meetings.
