Hospice Registered Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Hospice is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cumberland County. As an RN, you will apply your knowledge of nursing theories and concepts to provide high-quality care and documentation meeting reimbursement guidelines. You will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and our Hospice team to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing knowledge to provide compassionate care.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
• Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure and nursing education.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs.
• Compliance with nursing practice regulations and continuing education.
• CPR certification.
• Flexibility for travel, weekend/evening, and holiday shifts.
