Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join the ThedaCare team at Juliette Manor in Berlin, Wisconsin. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with a diverse healthcare team. This role involves delivering high-quality care, promoting patient satisfaction, and contributing to the professional practice of nursing at ThedaCare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform delegated tasks to assess patient's physical condition and nursing needs.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in assigned specialty, considering patient's age and cultural background.
• Identify opportunities to enhance patient experience, streamline care processes, and improve outcomes.
• Promote a professional environment that fosters mentorship and development.
• Maintain positive relationships with physicians and team members to optimize patient care.
• Proactively manage risks and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Meet all required qualifications and possess current Wisconsin LPN Licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin LPN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to move freely, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in environments with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials. This position requires compliance with specific competencies and entails possible exposure to communicable diseases and aggressive patients.
