Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a talented Highway Design Technician to join our transportation design team. As a Highway Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in developing transportation projects that enhance community safety and infrastructure.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD software to create highway concept exhibits, working drawings, and final construction plans.
- Collaborate with Team Lead, Project Managers, and Engineers to complete drafting tasks efficiently.
- Manage project information effectively and ensure compliance with drafting standards.
- Handle multiple project assignments simultaneously.
Job Requirements
- Seeking or pursuing a certificate or degree in CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of CAD production software.
- Familiarity with Microstation/Bentley design products is advantageous.
- Strong ability to read and comprehend plans.
- Effective time management skills to meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
