Generator Field Service Technician Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1mW).
- Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostic and load-bank testing, and start-ups on generators.
- Prepare accurate repair quotes and complete work orders.
- Prior experience in residential or industrial generator maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Must possess essential tools (multi-meter, hand-tools, etc.).
- Emphasize safety with OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to attain).
- Hold a valid DOT card and driver's license.
