Job Description

As a CPA candidate, you will work directly with the general ledger, focusing on account reconciliations, and supporting various departments. Your responsibilities will include developing and modifying accounting procedures, preparing fiscal reports, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the general ledger, performing account reconciliations
  • Develop, review, and modify accounting procedures and policies
  • Assist in preparing fiscal reports and interpreting the Fiscal Control Act
  • Exercise independent judgment and initiative in completing assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution
  • Current CPA candidate with up to two years of accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern office practices
