Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join the Amazon Data Services, Inc. team and work on the AWS Server Engineering projects. As a member of the Server Hardware Engineering team, you will lead the design and development of server products, collaborating with various teams and partners to deliver innovative solutions at scale. You will play a key role in architecting solutions, overseeing product quality, and driving continuous improvement in performance and cost optimization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of server products.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to architect solutions.
- Oversee the quality and performance of launched server products.
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, quality, and cost optimization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of hardware development experience in server architecture and design.
- 5+ years of experience with design and manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in server technologies such as Thermal/Mechanical design, high-speed bus design, and networking.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams from concept to production.
- Experience with project management of technical projects.
- Startup experience is a plus.
